With a focus on both artistic vision and ease of implementation, the Magic Stage series has continuously driven the evolution of rental LED displays.

How MG Shapes Creative Staging

Creative Prototype

The first-generation MG series introduced the industry to the concept of a “light, thin, unique, fast, and eﬃcient” design—a combination that was unprecedented at the time. The cabinets were constructed with ultra-lightweight polymer nano-materials and featured modular, compact, and structurally optimized designs, which gave MG a distinct advantage. This approach quickly gained recognition in global markets, laying a solid foundation for the series’ continuous development.

Creative 1.0

YES TECH pioneered the “multi-functions & creative shapes” design and successfully applied it to MG rental displays. This innovation enabled the MG series to go beyond traditional stage backdrops, allowing clients to be used as floor tiles, ceiling panels, and stadium screens, with curved and staggered splicing for optimal results.

Flat-panel splicing can be made as creative as possible to adapt to diverse stage layouts.

Creative 1.5

With the introduction of the MG11–MG16 creatively shaped screens collection, MG’s standard panels can be combined with irregular elements to overcome technical limitations in irregularly shaped splicing. This allowed for complex geometries beyond simple rectangles, giving designers the freedom to create unconventional stage layouts that were previously unattainable with traditional flat screens, enhancing both visual impact and audience engagement.

Creative 2.0

YES TECH advanced beyond two-dimensional setups to establish a versatile three-dimensional stage ecosystem. Multi-faced panels, including MG17, MG18, and MG19—featuring three-sided cubes, rounded corners, and half-columns to complete the MG-shaped family—along with the MG Cube versions, added depth and layering to stage designs. These configurations created more immersive visual experiences than ever before.

Creative 3.0

The MG series now boasts the industry’s most comprehensive range of creatively shaped cabinets, MG11–MG19. Advanced cross-series splicing, supported by new products like Rubik and Xtra, positions MG at the core of a new stage display ecosystem. These solutions significantly reduce the complexity of stage design.

With each generation, the MG Series has received upgrades that expand its possibilities, enabling projects such as the turntable stage for U2’s Sphere tour, the airplane-shaped and NFL logo-inspired stages for the 2024 and 2025 Super Bowls, the 2,000 sqm round dance floor for the 19th Asian Games, the flower cart stage for the Brazil World Cup, and many more. All of this is achieved with creative freedom while keeping ease of use a top priority—a principle that continues to guide everything we do.
