A must‐see event on the North of France’s festive calendar ‐ the Spring Ball ‐ brought the Kursaal in Dunkirk to life to mark the end of the carnival season.
A total of 50 units of Starway Superfast WET fixtures lit up the event, courtesy of PHENIX.

Amélie Parsy, manager of PHENIX, and Valentin Nebati, the Ball’s lighting designer takes a look back at a superb performance of the fixture; “It was our first time using the Superfast WETs
at an event,” explains Amélie. “We discovered these projectors at ISE in Barcelona, and their potential immediately won us over. The presence of trichromatic colour is clearly a major asset for these projectors.” Valentin adds that it was a choice that proved its worth in practice: “It’s a very powerful machine, including in terms of colour, which is quite rare for laser projectors. They also offer an excellent power‐to‐ weight ratio, which is a real advantage in operation.”
The Superfast WETs also stand out for their ability to combine multiple features, as well as their IP65
certification, according to Valentin.
