NEXO STM lives up to the hype at festivals in Vietnam

Hype Fest arrived at the 30,000‐ capacity Cần Thơ Stadium in Vietnam with headlining sets from top DJs including Tăng Duy Tân, HIEUTHUHAI, Quang Hùng MasterD, Wean and

DJ Wukong.

Delivering maximum impact for an audience that was there to party, local production services company PVN Vy Phuong deployed their NEXO STM modular line array system, with left and right hangs of 9 x M46 Main and B112 Bass modules flown side by side with 2 x M28 down‐fill boxes, and side fill arrays of 8 x M28s flown beneath

2 x S118 subs.

Referred to by PVN as its ‘Bass Monsters’, a row of S118 subs across the front of the stage ensured that the music was felt as much as heard.

Amplification and processing for the full system came from racks of NEXO’s NXAMP Powered TD Controllers.

Hype fest is the latest in a string of STM‐powered festivals in the country that includes Tuborg Why Not in March, and Strongbow Sparkling World which took place in Ho Chi Minh City.
