Kicking off 2026 with proactive momentum, CHIP X Digiworz hosted the Round-Table & AVoIP Interoperable Design Discussion, focusing on the convergence of Audio Video over IP (AVoIP) network development for the year ahead. The discussions emphasized interoperability across broadcast, live, and ProAV environments, bridging protocols such as DANTE, ST 2110, AES67 and more.

The session brought together five experienced subject matter experts: Dominic Koh, Technical Director, Munique Group (Live & Broadcast Production); Frank Lee, Consultant, Munique Group (Studio Production); James Tan, Integration Specialist, Atech Integration Engineering (House of Worship); Hikam Ali, AV Consultant, One Circle (House of Worship); and HC Wong, Immersive Production Designer, FXMedia.

Drawing on decades of combined experience spanning pre-networked AV systems to today’s AVoIP landscape, the round-table helped close critical knowledge gaps and prepare clients for the industry’s ongoing technology transition. Participants gained alignment with current AVoIP

platforms, enabling more informed planning for live production, worship facilities, and broadcast convergence projects. The discussion reinforced that strong fundamentals remain essential to building reliable, interoperable, and future-ready converged networks.

Continued industry training and workshops will support this growth, with focused intermediate-level training programs and Master Classes planned by panels for 2026.

In conjunction with the event, the inaugural DANTE In-Person Training Program — “CHIP: Get In-Person with DANTE” commenced. Based on the DANTE Certification Program Levels 1 and 2, the program reflects DANTE’s position since 2013 as the leading Audio over IP (AoIP) protocol, seamless interoperability with AES67 and ST2110.

The training was conducted by Chip Chong, a 3rd Edition Certified DANTE Training Partner, who recently completed DANTE Mastery Certificate under the guidance of Senior Trainers Holger Wiesenberg and Miguel Garcia. Their expertise, together with support from Vince Lepore and the DANTE team, helped shape this advanced training initiaive for the Southeast Asia region.

The sessions were held at the new Digiworz Tech Immersive DTI Room, where Digiworz, led by CK Ng and Alex Boh, design and integrate AVoIP soluions across education, corporate, IT, and government sectors—ranging from hybrid unified communications systems to comprehensive AVoIP workplace AV system.
