The 2nd HARMAN Professional Tour Summit held at the W Sentosa welcomed over 100 attendees from distributors, audio visual and lighting rental companies, event management companies, AV consultants, and performance venues.

Spanning over two days, the Tour Summit continues to be the most anticipated event focused primarily on the Touring and Performance market in the Asia‐Pacific region. The event program entailed product overviews and demonstrations by leaders from the HARMAN Global Product Line Management (GPLM) Team such as George Georgallis, Director for Performance Audio, Hugo Larin, Senior Business Development Director for FLUX:: and Bjorn VanMunster, Senior Business Development Manager for FLUX::. Their presentations highlighted the powerful synergy between JBL’s technical expertise and FLUX::'s creative vision, offering a glimpse into the future of immersive sound solutions.

The audio installation for the summit featured a powerful frontal system consisting of five arrays of 5 boxes

of JBL VTX‐A8 loudspeakers, complemented by 6 boxes of JBL VTX‐ B28 subwoofers. To ensure optimal localization for audience members near the stage, the 5 JBL VTX‐A6 cabinets were strategically placed on top of the subwoofers as a front‐fill system.

Surround coverage was achieved with 8 arrays of 3 boxes of JBL VTX‐A6 speakers, creating an immersive audio experience.

All loudspeaker were powered by Crown iTech‐HD amplifiers and the audio routed through two BSS Soundweb BLU‐806 units, ensuring seamless signal distribution and processing. Additionally, a Zactrack system was integrated into the overall processing, allowing for automatic tracking of presenters on stage. This innovative solution synchronized the audio and the Martin Professional lighting fixtures, enhancing both the auditory and visual experience for the audience.

A variety of deployment scenarios for immersive experiences was demonstrated, spanning digital art installations, dance festivals, gathering spaces for speeches and relaxation, as well as transcending the audience to regional soundscapes inspired by the Spanish and Indian culture.

During the second evening, guests were treated to a live music performance by famed local band, Reverie, delivered through the immersive line array setup that was mixed in Flux SPAT Revolution. Each setting emphasized the versatility and precision of our audio technology in diverse environments.

Another highlight was the official introduction of the MiRA analyzer software to the APAC region. MiRA, a state‐of‐the‐art real‐time audio analysis software designed for immersive and spatial audio monitoring is capable of supporting multi‐channel formats like Dolby Atmos and live immersive sound applications. Equipped with advanced metering, spectrum analysis, and correlation tools, MiRA seamlessly integrates with DAWs and hardware, providing precise audio visualization for post‐production and live environments.

Other new products making their Asia‐Pacific debut were the Martin MAC Aura XIP Raven, JBL PRX925 Two‐Way 15‐inch Loudspeaker, JBL PRX935 Three‐Way 15‐inch Loudspeaker and two new models of flyable subwoofers from the JBL SRX900 series.

“The 2nd HARMAN Tour Summit generated a lot of positive feedback from all attendees who experienced the live demonstrations of our state‐of‐the‐art products and technologies. Our JBL x FLUX:: demonstration has proven that we can deliver truly immersive experiences for live events and fixed installations. We certainly expect to see the adoption of HARMAN Tour products continue to grow and to power more high‐profile concerts and festivals in 2025,” said Amar Subash, Vice President and General Manager, HARMAN Professional APAC.
