Brand‐new LED billboards outside the T2 terminal of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport
In May 2022, next to the driveway outside the T2 terminal of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, four brand‐new upright LED billboards were set up. These billboards are all made of INFiLED's MV series, with a size of 3.5m*3m, and the advertising content presented is conspicuous and distinct.
Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is one of the busiest airports in China, with a good deal of passengers taking off and landing from here every day. Due to the huge passenger flow, the airport intended to build some LED displays next to the drop‐off lane outside the T2 terminal for commercial promotion. However, to catch the attention of passers‐by, the billboards are required to meet two conditions, that is, a generous appearance and an excellent display effect. To this extent, INFiLED, which has years of experience in the LED display industry, has naturally become the first choice, because it can provide the most well‐ matched display solution to the airport.
In consideration of the limited space in front of the terminal building, to build neat and generous screens here, INFiLED's solution is to adopt the outdoor MV series. This series of cabinets has an aluminum profile system frame, and the edge thickness is only 83.35mm, which looks aesthetic and modern. In addition, two leg uprights are set up under the screens, so that the screens are just at a suitable height for viewing, and vehicles a little further away can easily view the content above.
From the visual perception, outdoor screens built for advertising purposes are required to be attractive in terms of picture quality and color display, as this can effectively distribute advertising messages and make an impressive impression on passersby. In this sense, INFiLED billboards applied in the airport perform extremely outstanding, with a fine pixel pitch of only 3.91mm, a brightness of 5000nits, and a high refresh rate of 3840Hz, advertisements are displayed smoothly even in broad daylight.
In addition to considering the appearance and performance of the screens, INFiLED also has several ingenuities in design. To facilitate installation, the MV series adopts a lightweight design, each cabinet is merely 19kg, with a highly stable frame,
convenient to assemble without worrying about bumps. Moreover, it supports front and rear maintenance, and the LED module, independent power supply, and data unit can be easily removed for inspection and reconditioning.
