AMX transforms Dwight School Hanoi with new AV solutions

HARMAN Professional Solutions, a leader in professional audio, video, and lighting solutions, has proudly collaborated with AV Plus Joint Stock Company to deliver a state‐of‐the‐art audiovisual system for Dwight School Hanoi. This premier international school, located in the heart of Hanoi’s high‐end urban development, The Manor Central Park, now boasts an advanced AV infrastructure designed to enhance educational outcomes.

Dwight School Hanoi, spanning an impressive 35,000 m², represents a partnership between KLEOS Education Management Co., Ltd. and SEA Education LLC. The institution embodies the expansion of a globally renowned U.S.‐based educational organization into Vietnam. With its commitment to academic excellence, Dwight School sought an AV system that would revolutionize teaching, streamline system management, and improve campus‐wide communication.

The recently completed project addressed the school’s need for seamless control, superior audio‐visual performance, and user‐friendly operation across classrooms, meeting rooms, and recreational spaces.

Every classroom and functional room are outfitted with the AMX MCP‐108 ControlPad, a simple wall‐mounted device with easy‐to‐use buttons and a rotary knob. This setup makes operating classroom devices a breeze, while maintaining robust security standards. Alongside, the AMX Precis PR‐0402 HDMI Matrix Switcher effortlessly handles high‐resolution 4K video for presentations, enabling smooth transitions between devices.

The school’s meeting room features the sleek AMX Modero G5 touch panel for intuitive control, paired with the AMX NX‐1200 controller that ensures reliable automation and secure operation. With support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, presentations and discussions benefit from crystal‐clear video quality, making it perfect for an international school environment.

To meet the challenges of open spaces, like the swimming pool and sports courts, HARMAN deployed powerful sound and video solutions.

Array loudspeakers, managed by the Soundcraft Si Expression 3 digital mixer, deliver clear, impactful audio even in noisy environments. Meanwhile, the AMX HDMI switcher and ControlPad make distributing high‐quality video to projectors a hassle‐free experience, enhancing sports and extracurricular activities.

The school’s Central Control Room serves as the nerve center, equipped with the AMX MT‐1002 Touch Panel for intuitive operation and the robust AMX NX‐3200 controller to manage devices across the campus. This centralized setup ensures smooth automation, synchronized performance, and secure system management.

“The sports court and swimming pool areas required clear and stable audio in acoustically challenging environments and the DSP technology in the Soundcraft Si Expression 3 Console allowed us to deliver excellent sound quality, eliminating echoes and background noise effectively,” said Mr Nam, Project Manager from AV Plus.
