RGBlink X3 launches Vietnam Grand Prix

Formula 1 and Hanoi announced last November that the Vietnamese capital will host Grand Prix racing from 2020, with preparations now well underway, the official launch event was held in April I n Hanoi. Major festivities took place at the My Dinh National Stadium, with the organizers VPGC and sponsor Heineken Silver putting on a showcase event complete with F1 cars, drivers and onstage entertainment including legendary DJ Armin van Buuren.

The video system was provided by ProSHOW Audio Visual, with the main outdoor stage featuring five creatively arranged and offset LED screens combing to form a 40-metre wide, 7-metre-high display. Delivering video to the screens fell to an RGBlink X3 universal video all processor. The X3 was fitted with SDI inputs from live camera feeds along with 4K input from a media server. Configuration and operation of the X3 was undertaken from the RGBlink XPOSE® software platform, aiding in rapid setup for the display systems. Says Technical Manager Leehai of ProSHOW Audio Visual, “X3 is perfect for these events, quick and easy to set up – the processor really worked well for us during this demanding and high profile event”.
