RGBlink systems chosen for Starbucks Korea Conference

Starbucks has certainly become ubiquitous in coffee, and in South Korea alone there are around 950 stores. So when it comes time to have conference, you know this going to be a big event. Late in 2016, Starbucks Korea did just that, calling on Korean production company Abletech for the technical elements. Held at the Kintex events centre Seoul, The conference brought together managers from across the country. Abletech deployed a host of LED displays for visuals, making use of both a Barco Encore system and an RGBlink X3 Live for video processing and live presentation requirements. The X3 Live provided a fully integrated all-in-one scaling and mixing targeting the side screens in particular. The product has a fully modular card based input structure, which in this case featured both 3G-SDI inputs from camera feeds as well HDMI inputs for the pre-recorded playback and pc sources. X3 Live is fitted with dual 2k HDMI outputs – expandable up to a total six outputs – plus outputs for replicating the on board PVW and PST/PGM display should this be needed. The ability to have multiple layers, each scaled and positioned meant that the requirements for the event could be met with ease, with presets recorded for IMAG as well as presentation elements that could dynamically be recalled and transitioned with effects. “The conference was very successful, with will the visual elements coming together seamlessly, and the RGBlink X3 Live performing very strongly – really demonstrating the suitability for important events of any scale.”
