grandMA2 shares the stage with Girls’ Generation World Tour in Jakarta

Korean K-Pop super group Girls’ Generation performed  to  a  sell-out  audience  on  14 September in Jakarta’s MEIS (Mata Elang International Stadium).   Brought in by concert promoters, Dyandra Entertainment and 7Kings Entertainment, this is the first Girls’ Generation  concert  in  the  South East Asia region.

The 3-hour long concert follows the same concept  and  production  as  the  concert in Seoul, with groundbreaking hologram technology   as   the   highlight.   For   their Jakarta  stage,  the  lighting  incorporated over   140   moving   head   fixtures   with all fixtures supplied by Indonesia’s leading lighting rental house, Mata Elang Produc- tions.   The   lighting   supplied   includes Vari-Lite  3000  Spots,  Sky  Beam  300’s, MP-Dragon   LED’s,   Color   Wash   LED’s, Atomic 3000’s, 4K Follow Spots, and Antari Haze machines. Control for the lighting rig was   from   two   MA   Lighting   grandMA2 full-size consoles expanded with two units of MA NPU’s. Tour Lighting Designer/ Programmer Kim Yeok Yung from Green Lighting (Korea) was given local support by Mata Elang’s team of Deddy Matel, Hassan, and Bernard Chew.
