BARTKRESA design kicks of global celebrations
BARTKRESA studio kicked-off the global 25th anniversary festivities for Friends. WB Worldwide Television Marketing commissioned BARTKRESA studio to turn the World’s Largest LED Screen, which covers the façade of the Burj Khalifa, into a memorable celebration of Friends. BKS wove Warner Bros’ own iconic symbols from the show into a high energy dance back in time, set to the show’s theme song, “I’ll Be There for You,” by the Rembrandts. Another project is the 360- degree projection-mapped sculpture, Sviatovid, which continued illuminating the globe since its premiere, in February. Sviatovid made its US premiere at InfoComm in June.
With the support of Avixa and Panasonic, approximately 40,000 – 50,000 industry professionals saw Sviatovid presiding over Hall E at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. In addition, Bart gave two presentations on the art of projection mapping. He discussed “Trends in Display and Light Technology,” and explored “Live Event Projection Mapping: Creating the Transformative Experience” at the TIDE conference within InfoComm. In September, Sviatovid materialized a Luma Festival in Binghamton, New York. Panasonic, WorldStage, and Luma Festival partnered with BKS to display Sviatovid at the extraordinary Binghamton United Presbyterian Church. In an homage to the striking 19th century architecture of the church, the students of the BARTKRESA academy created a three-and-a-half-minute pre-show. The church spire, pipe organ, and stained glass will all inspired the musically-driven, animated looks.
