We live in an era where individuals are connected by technology. With the advancements in communication technology, it enables businesses to overcome the barriers of distance among companies and permits one to conduct meetings with several people at the same time. Coronavirus (COVID-19) has elevated the need for such communications technologies and forced people to rethink their daily lives from work to school & to entertainment globally. With new restrictions enforced such as travel bans and social distancing measures in different parts of the world, the current situation has forced commercial companies instinctively, to actively engage Audiovisual Conferencing solutions to keep essential parts of the business going and to evaluate their business model for the future. To meet the sudden increase in demand for such conferencing equipment and solutions, Singapore’s Pro Audiovisual & Lighting Integration Association (AVLIAS) has recently established the Pro Audiovisual Conferencing Consortium (AVC2). The AVC2 consortium is made up of six individuals and specialize AV companies with more than 50 years of experience and countless successful AV installation projects across different industries in Singapore. The key objective of the consortium is to educate those commercial enterprises on how to deliver high quality online conferencing experiences with adequate levels of cyber security on every virtual meeting conducted with their valuable customers.
